Social Media Management and API Services

Wihfocus may provide social media management, publishing, scheduling, content distribution, engagement, and analytics services through integrations with third-party social media platforms and their application programming interfaces ("APIs").

These services may include integrations with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other supported platforms.

1. Connecting Social Media Accounts

Users may choose to connect one or more social media accounts to Wihfocus.

When connecting a social media account, the user authorizes Wihfocus to access and perform only the actions permitted through the applicable platform's authorization process, API permissions, scopes, and applicable platform policies.

Wihfocus does not obtain a user's social media password through these integrations.

The user remains responsible for ensuring that they have the authority to connect and manage any social media account connected to Wihfocus.

2. Publishing Content on Behalf of Users

Where a user has granted the required authorization and permissions, Wihfocus may publish or distribute content to the user's connected social media account on the user's behalf.

Depending on the platform and permissions granted, publishing functionality may include:

  • Text posts;
  • Images and photographs;
  • Videos;
  • Reels or short-form videos;
  • Stories;
  • Carousel posts;
  • Comments;
  • Replies to comments;
  • Other supported content formats; and
  • Social media analytics and performance information.

The availability of any particular feature depends on the applicable social media platform, its APIs, permissions, technical limitations, account type, and policies.

3. Automated Publishing and Engagement

Where supported and enabled by the user, Wihfocus may provide automated or scheduled publishing and engagement functionality.

This may include publishing scheduled content, adding user-authorized comments to a user's own posts, replying to comments, and collecting engagement or performance information.

Users are responsible for reviewing and configuring any automated actions appropriately and must not use Wihfocus to engage in spam, deceptive activity, harassment, impersonation, manipulation, or other activity prohibited by the applicable social media platform.

4. User Content

Users may provide or upload text, photographs, videos, graphics, captions, links, hashtags, comments, and other materials for publication through Wihfocus.

The user represents and warrants that they have all rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations necessary to use and publish such content.

The user remains responsible for the legality, accuracy, originality, and appropriateness of content submitted for publication.

Wihfocus does not claim ownership of user-created content solely because the content is submitted to or distributed through Wihfocus.

5. Third-Party Social Media Platforms

Wihfocus integrates with third-party services that are independently operated by their respective providers.

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms may change, restrict, suspend, discontinue, or modify their APIs, permissions, policies, features, or services at any time.

Accordingly, Wihfocus does not guarantee that a particular social media integration, publishing function, API endpoint, permission, metric, or feature will remain available.

Users must comply with the terms, policies, community standards, developer requirements, and other applicable rules of each third-party platform they connect to Wihfocus.

6. Authorization and Access Tokens

Social media integrations may use authorization tokens, access tokens, refresh tokens, account identifiers, or similar authentication information supplied by third-party platforms.

Wihfocus will use such credentials only for authorized services and functionality.

Users must not provide Wihfocus with another person's credentials or attempt to connect an account without the account owner's authorization.

Users may disconnect or revoke authorization for a connected social media account where the applicable platform and Wihfocus provide such functionality.

Revoking authorization may cause some Wihfocus features to stop working for that account.

7. Social Media Analytics

Where supported by a third-party platform and authorized by the user, Wihfocus may retrieve information relating to published content and account performance.

Such information may include, depending on the platform:

  • Likes or reactions;
  • Comments;
  • Shares;
  • Saves;
  • Views;
  • Reach;
  • Engagement information;
  • Post metadata;
  • Publication status; and
  • Other performance metrics made available through the applicable API.

Analytics availability and accuracy depend on the information supplied by the applicable third-party platform.

8. Client Responsibility for Automated Actions

Users are responsible for reviewing their content, captions, comments, replies, schedules, publishing settings, connected accounts, and automated actions before enabling them.

Wihfocus should not be used to automatically publish unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.

Wihfocus may suspend or restrict functionality where it reasonably believes that the service is being used in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or a third-party platform's policies.

9. Platform Restrictions and Publishing Failures

A publication request may fail because of circumstances outside Wihfocus's control, including:

  • Expired or revoked authorization;
  • Missing API permissions;
  • Platform rate limits;
  • API changes;
  • Platform outages;
  • Account restrictions;
  • Content restrictions;
  • Invalid media;
  • Unsupported content formats;
  • Third-party moderation decisions; or
  • Other technical or policy restrictions imposed by the applicable platform.

Wihfocus does not guarantee that every authorized publishing request will successfully appear on a third-party platform.

10. Account Disconnection and Data Removal

Users may request disconnection of their social media accounts from Wihfocus.

Where technically and legally applicable, Wihfocus may delete or disable stored social-media authorization information associated with the disconnected account.

Certain information may be retained where required by law, necessary for legitimate business purposes, required for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise permitted under the Wihfocus Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Social Media Integrations

Wihfocus may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue support for particular social media platforms or features.

A change made by a third-party platform may require Wihfocus to modify or discontinue corresponding functionality.

Wihfocus will make reasonable efforts to maintain supported integrations but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party API functionality.
